>On early birds and growing up daughters

>Today I woke up by a bird, twittering – not singing – right in front of my window. It actually sounded like it was talking to someone – maybe a good friend or a husband… asking questions, pausing to wait for an answer – chatting on..

Then Joshua Redman started to play on his sax (wake-up call) and the day started.

Today is a special day, because my eldest daughter is writing her German Abitur. So we had a healthy breakfast together, prayed for her, hugged her – and off she went to school on her bike – writing her tests together with 130 other pupils in her school and with thousands of other kids in Germany.

Good luck to all of them!
